ᑕᗩᑭTᑕᕼᗩ'S HISTORY

The history of CAPTCHA traces back to 1997 when AltaVista, an early search engine, faced challenges with auto-generated URLs affecting its rankings. To address this, in 2001., Andrei Broder, the chief scientist, developed an algorithm, later known as CAPTCHA. This algorithm presented random images with printed text, aiming to differentiate between bots and humans. In 2003, a team of scientists, improved the CAPTCHA algorithm. They officially named it CAPTCHA, standing for Completely Automated Public Turing Test, with the goal of distinguishing between computers and humans without human intervention.
